Theweekend

Two days, one bay. Friday belongs to Portland; Saturday belongs to the island. Here is how it unfolds.

A note on the island

Wild, anda little windswept

House Island is granite, grass and salt air. The paths are uneven, the breeze arrives without warning, and the light at eight o’clock is the entire reason we chose it. Pack a wrap, and let your hair do what it wants.
